Volunteer Orientation
An on-site session that occurs bi-monthly for prospective volunteers to learn about animal care volunteering. Orientation is open to volunteers ages 16 and up and lasts approximately 2.5 hours. A monthly rewarding day of hard work for the animals of Carolina Waterfowl Rescue! Open to all members of the public, ages 16 and up - registration not required. Priority varies month to month but will usually involve organizing, repairing, or enriching our habitat-simulating yards. Lead by staff, all you need to bring is yourself, your time, and some clothes to get dirty!

Giving Tuesday
A national day of charitable giving! For nonprofits across the country, Giving Tuesday is the largest fundraising day of the entire year. Giving Tuesday always takes place the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving and is a can’t-miss opportunity for supporters who want to ensure that Carolina Waterfowl Rescue finishes out the year strongly and is ready to take on the challenges of the new year. Monitor our social media and email communications for new updates related to Giving Tuesday.
