And if you're able to take on a bachelor flock, it would make a huge difference — these boys have already proven they can get along. Rescue group seeks aid after saving neglected animals from Iredell County property
Carolina Waterfowl Rescue has been called in to help save hundreds of birds found abandoned and in distress in northern Iredell County. Chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, pigeons and other birds were found without adequate food or water, with some showing signs of injury and severe distress. CWR staff and volunteers have mobilized to bring these animals to safety, where they now need food, medical care, supplies, housing and daily care.
A rescue of this size brings extraordinary, unexpected costs. Your donation will help CWR provide the immediate care these animals need while continuing to care for the hundreds of other animals already depending on the rescue. Every gift helps turn an overwhelming rescue into individual second chances.
